INVITATION - NORDIC CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FOIL
The fencing club of Oulu has the honour to invite you to the Nordic Championships in Foil in Oulu 12th - 13th of February 2011. The competition is open to all participants, but only those from member federations of the Nordic Fencing Union compete for the championship titles.During the weekend, individual competitions are organised for both men and women in age groups under 13, 15, 17 and 20, seniors and veterans.

VENUE
Competition venue is Linnanmaa Sports Hall, Virkakatu 1, Oulu.COMPETITION FEES
Competition fee is 20eur/start.EQUIPMENT
For cadets, juniors, seniors and veterans:800N jacket, breeches and plastron, 1600N mask required.
FIE blades are not required.
For under 15 and under 13:
350N jacket and breeches, 800N plastron (or 800N jacket and 350N plastron),
350N mask
Blade size up to 5
Fencing equipment shop is present at the venue.
REFEREES
As per the Nordic Fencing Union rules,the participating federation areobliged to provide or pay for referees as follows:1-4 fencers, 0 referees
5-9 fencers, 1 referee
10-15 fencers, 2 referees
16-20 fencers, 3 referees
21 and more, 4 referees
A fine of 150 euro per missing referee is imposed.
ACCOMMODATION

Bus number 19 from the airport stops 50m from the hotel. The same bus to the same direction stops also next to the competition venue.
